How much outside noise is there?
Best asked of the host and read up in the reviews. A room in a shared building with other users sounds different on a weekday morning than on a Sunday.
Can I rent a room for a podcast?
Yes. Look for a smaller room with soft materials: curtains, carpet, upholstered furniture. Meeting rooms and treatment rooms are often surprisingly good for it.
